I give no fucks about Anne’s warbly voice…it’s sung live and it sounds amazing. This trailer kicked my ass…I had to remember to keep breathing.

at first i was like “what the fuck anne” but now I love it because it’s so unapologetic, so real, so vulnerable. which is perfect for the song. And, i think, a new interpretation in the way she emphasizes the words

yeah.  all of this.

She sounds fine. And fitting for the movie. Yes, I Dreamed a Dream is usually glammed up a bit when it’s performed out of context- it is in context here. She’s vulnerable and not flawless.

I WILL say that I don’t think that was the song they should have used for the trailer (however this is just the teaser and we’ll get a real trailer later, which will probably use different music), or at least that they should have used a medley, but I think she sounds right for the role.
